In the month of October three Films released, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dream project Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, Gopichand’s spy thriller Chanakya and Ohmkar’s horror comedy Raju Gari Gadhi3. Check out the revenue of these Telugu films below.

SYERAA NARASIMHA REDDY – Most prestigious project for Chiranjeevi as it’s his dream come true to play activist on screen and film is produced under home banner Konidela Productions by Ram Charan. This film is based on true story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy of Rayalaseema region directed by Surender Reddy. Director did terrific job in handling larger than life star cast but many felt he should have focused more on authenticity rather than cinematic influence. Chiranjeevi’s market raise due to Khaidhi No.150 and Syeraa being epic action genre got this film stunning Theatrical price of 158.50 Cr. With positive word of mouth garnered 131.65 Cr closing share and 217.10 Cr gross worldwide.

CHANAKYA – Gopichand’s action spy thriller directed by Thiru produced by AK Entertainments banner impressed with teasers trailer before the release and created decent buzz which helped in pulling Theatrical biz of 11.70 Cr even though Hero’s previous flicks didn’t do well. He pinned all his hopes on the film but got hugely disappointed. More than thriller it feels like a routine commercial entertainer with all boring elements. Film collected 5.35 Cr share and 9.45 Cr gross.

RAJU GARI GADHI 3 – Now is the time Director Ohmkar should seriously consider stopping Raju Gari Gadhi franchise. Third outing is no where near first one. Vulgar comedy, ridiculous story, b grade item song, lack of freshness makes this film frustrating except for a 20-minute comedy scene. Out of all genres Horror comedy is the only guaranteed genre for producers to get their invested bucks back even with average content. This is the reason for RGG 3 getting 5.15 Cr share and  8.60 Cr gross at box-office.
