King Nagarjuna has been facing disasters after delivering his career-best multistarrer Oopiri with Karthi directed by Vamshee Paidipally. His later ventures Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Devdas, officer and om Namo Venkatesaya tumbled at the box-office.
Nagarjuna collaborated with one-time debutant Rahul Ravindran for a rom-com titled Manmadhudu-2 which is inspired by a French film I do and also a sequel of his super hit film Manmadhudu. This film released on August 9th and received a disastrous talk from the first show. The cast and crew of the film received criticism on social media because of the adult content in the film.
Coming to the collections, this film collected 4.76 cr share and 7.90 cr gross worldwide on the first day.
