STORY – Film is set in 1997 about a Young guy Karnan (Dhanush) who waits for a military job in his village (Podiyankulam) where there is no school, hospital and bus stand despite having petitioned multiple times. People there are forced to use bus stand in a neighboring village, where they are always harassed. In an unexpected situation a bus is trashed by Karnan, that turns him rebellious to fight for the rights of his oppressed people. Can he save his people from those who wield power and weapons?
