Below is the list of such Top-5 films which made jaw-dropping collections on the first day in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region as of 2019.
1 – BAAHUBALI 2 : Owing to the insane craze SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali created it is pretty evident that Baahubali 2 is Topper of this list. This film released in 6500 screens in India and around 2000 screens in outside of India making it a total of around 9000 screens worldwide. This film collected 57.27CR Gross and 42.87CR Share alone in AP/TG.
2 – SAAHO : One Film which utterly disappointed this year with crazy expectations is Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho which released in around 6000 screens worldwide. The film collected 50.90CR Gross and 35.45CR Share on the first day of release. Even though the film is liked by the Hindi audience it couldn’t attract the audience of other languages.
3 – SYERAA NARASIMHA REDDY : Megastar Chiranjeevi fulfilled his wish of playing a Warrior or Social Activist on-screen with Syeraa Narasimha Reddy – Film centered on activist Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy of Rayalaseema region. With a star cast of best in each Industry and release in 5 languages, Syeraa made 50.80CR Gross and 36.03CR Share on release day.
4 – ARAVINDHA SAMETHA – Dream combination of Jr.NTR and Trivikram finally took birth with Aravinda Sametha. Teaser, Trailer and Lyrical videos especially Telangana slang perfectly uttered by NTR pulled the crowd to theaters making 38.20CR Gross and 26.76CR Share on the first day alone.
5. AGNATHAVASI – Irrespective of previous Films result Power Star Pawan Kalyan films always make insane amounts of money on 1st day and here is the proof. PK-Trivikram third outing after Jalsa and Attarintiki Dharedhi collected 37.90CR Gross and 26.35CR Share. Everyone thought this Film would make record-breaking collections but badly tumbled at the box-office.
