Chiyaan Vikram is known for his terrific makeovers and not so routine roles. He faced his biggest disaster ‘I’ directed by Shankar. Since then he didn’t get to taste proper success. His recent flick Mr.KK released today and got a mixed talk from audience. Seems like Vikram’s wait for blockbuster still continues.
Coming to the story a cop (Abi Hassan) saves KK (Vikram) and admits him in a hospital which leads to kidnap of his pregnant wife (Akshara Hassan). To save her wife’s life he joins hands with kk who is a highly wanted criminal. The first half feels slow and uninteresting until a period of time. On the contrary, the second half is engaging and thrilling enough to make the audience stick to their seats.
Firstly Ghibran‘s background score is a major plus to the film especially for action scenes he mesmerized with Hollywood range sounds. Thanks to the Cinematographer Srinivas r gutha who did an outstanding job in making every bit of the film look rich and classy. Kamal Haasan produced this film in his own production kudos to his team for the grandeur. Rajesh m selva direction falls short for the film. Vikram’s character as criminal didn’t get a scope to act which is a huge disappointment for his fans but his star screen presence can be felt and his stylish looks are eye candy. Akshara Haasan predominantly got much scope to act and she excelled in a scene where she fights another woman. Nassar’s son Abhi Hassan fitted perfectly as a cop.
